Voice Mail Alert!
Voice Mail Alert! lets you know when you've received a voice mail message and show you what's in your Verizon Wireless voice mailbox.
How to Use Voice Mail Alert!

When a new voice mail message has been deposited in your voice mailbox, your digital phone will beep and "V" icon or
icon will appear on the phone's display. -
The phone's initial display will indicate the time the most recent voice mail message was deposited and your total number of new messages.

Press the
key (or
other message key) twice and then choose the smart key under VOICE to view
the complete status of your voice mailbox. (If you do not progress to
this step after Step 2, your phone will beep to remind you to review your
voice mail status.)
The display will automatically scroll through the following information:
Date and time the most recent voice mail message was deposited
Number of new voice mail messages
Number of unheard voice mail messages
Number of urgent voice mail messages
Total number of voice mail messages
